The real question

Vietnam may be a strong sourcing option. The question is whether it makes sense for your specific product.

Country-level advice is easy to find and rarely useful. A category that manufactures well in Vietnam at scale can be a poor fit for your specification, your volume or your delivery window.

So we start with one real SKU or category, and the outcome is a decision rather than a brochure: pursue it, adjust the specification, or leave it alone.

What buyers usually have

  • A directory full of unverified listings
  • Quotations that cannot be compared line by line
  • No visibility on who actually manufactures
  • Pressure to commit capital before clarity

What we work toward

  • A shortlist that survives scrutiny
  • Quotations built on the same specification
  • Documented findings, with sources named
  • A next step you can defend internally

How it works

Five steps, starting with one product

Two procurement professionals reviewing quotations and drawings at a table
  1. 01

    Send one product or SKU

A photo, a link, a drawing or a specification sheet. Whatever you already have is enough to begin.

  2. 02

    Opportunity assessment

Manufacturing fit, realistic MOQ, supplier landscape, indicative commercial position and the risks that matter.

  3. 03

    Qualified suppliers

We identify manufacturers that genuinely produce the item and qualify them against your requirements.

  4. 04

    Compare and negotiate

Quotations are rebuilt on one specification so they compare line by line, then negotiated on your behalf.

  5. 05

    Verify and move to order

Samples, third-party inspection and QC are coordinated as required, through to purchase order and export handover.

Why Vietnam

A serious manufacturing origin — evaluated, not assumed

Vietnam is worth evaluating for structural reasons, not because of hype. We publish no savings figures, because savings depend entirely on your product, volume and current position.

01

Manufacturing diversification

A single origin carries tariff, logistics and policy exposure that has nothing to do with supplier performance. A second qualified origin reduces that concentration.

02

Established export manufacturing

Long-standing export production in furniture, home goods and textiles, with factories accustomed to international buyers, documentation and shipping requirements.

03

OEM and private-label capability

Many manufacturers work to buyer specification and support own-brand programmes — relevant for distributors and private-label brands rather than pure trading buyers.

04

Realistic expectations

Not every product transfers well. Some categories are thin, some MOQs are high, some specifications are better served elsewhere. We would rather say so early.

Trust

How we protect your decision

  • 01

We do not promise the cheapest factory. We look for the right manufacturer for your specification, volume and risk tolerance.

  • 02

Verification is evidence-based. If a claim is unverified, it is labelled unverified.

  • 03

Desk due diligence is not a physical inspection, and we never describe one as the other.

  • 04

Third-party factory inspection and laboratory testing can be arranged separately when required.

  • 05

If Vietnam does not make commercial sense for your product, we say so and recommend against it.

Give us one product. We'll tell you whether Vietnam deserves a closer look.

Send the product you care about most. We will review it and reply with the right next step — including if that next step is not to proceed.
